First sounds, shown not spoken: the letter is on screen and the child finds what starts with it, then says it out loud to you.
Nothing in first sounds can be lost or failed. A wrong answer stays on screen to try again, which is what keeps a two-year-old in the game long enough to learn from it.

What age is First sounds for?+
It is pitched at 3 to 6 year olds, though children either side of that often enjoy it too. Nothing is timed, so a younger child can simply take longer.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. Kidling runs entirely in the browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. There is no app to download and no store account involved.
